The Dobbin House is all about the ambiance. A converted root cellar of a 200 yr. old building, original stone walls, rich dark wood molding with candle light and a fire place in season. Very limited menu of very mediocre food. Even their signature "Kings" onion soup, though still good, is not what it once was. All this and the prices creep up. But it is still crowded. Expect a 15 min. wait at popular times. Will I be one of those waiting? Most assuredly, my wife will insist!
