This was a very unusual experience for me at Cherry Hill Dental. I ve been a patient for approximately 15 years and the office has always been run very efficiently. Something was off today and I truly hope they get it corrected because I really do like everyone who works there and have never had a bad experience before today.
I Went for a routine cleaning and was very disappointed in the wait time throughout the entire appointment. 15 minutes late getting me into the room. Waited another 5 min for the hygienist, who did a great job. Then after my cleaning I waited approximately 20-25 min for the dentist, which is unusual. Spoke to the dentist, who I adore, for about 10 minutes. Then i was left sitting by myself for another 10 minutes waiting for a recommendation. I got tired of waiting and got out of the chair, took off my own bib and went to the front desk. No one was able to check me out so I left. The dental assistant did give me the recommendation when I was up at the front desk.
I arrived on time for a 12:00 pm appointment and left the office at 1:35 pm. This was just a cleaning that normally takes about an hour.
I m not sure what happened today but the office was not working the way it normally does. I hope it was just an off day and things improve when i go back in May.
