I made an appointment for my car to be serviced. When I got there at 11:45 am, they told me that my car would be looked at "tomorrow or later in the week."

When I asked "Why did you make an appointment with me if you can't look at the car?" I was told that the "appointment" was only a reserved time to "check the car in."

When I mentioned that it was neither fair, reasonable nor customary to begin service a day (or more) past the reservation time, the service tech said "life isn't fair."

I'd heard enough at the point. So I paid to have the car towed to another dealer where service is proceeding in a typical fashion.
