Very disappointed overall. Okay the parking is cheap and well spread, the zoo is overall clean, though the food is overpriced; But the main reason why people flock to Zoos in any part of the world is Animals Animals and Melb Zoo will let you down. Most of the animals are hard to find in their enclosures. We couldn't find the Tiger, Hippo and others while there was one Zebra, one Koala hidden in some bush, some baby Kangaroos and i can go on. I took some overseas visitors to the Zoo and they couldn't believe what the hype was for. It was actually embarrassing. I'm not even going there on a free ticket.
