Dr. Jeffery Farber came of us a condescending bully. My dentist referred him for a follow-up from extra tissue left since my wisdom teeth removal, but my dentist called the issue 'cheek biting'. I told him up front that was a lie, as cheek biting was not an issue, not before the extraction screw- up anyway. He was offended and attacked me by blaming me for the dry socket (though I followed instructions and I wasn't there for a dry socket issue). Yes I vape Cannabis due to insomnia and was instantly judged for it. He insinuated I was lying about my part in the dry socket.

The sheer judgement and shame that came from him for not taking 'perfect' care of my teeth and gums was judgmental and lacked empathy. Treated me like I was a liar and less of a person because I caused my dry socket. I had to stand up for myself and argue with him.

Two stars because reception and other staff were ok. I've no issues with the fact that he couldn't help me get rid of the excess tissue. Before you defend his behavior, like the other reviews below, please remember:

Unlike people in your profession, our lives don't revolve around oral care, neither do we judge people for not practicing good care. Neither should you. You don't know what people are going through, especially in the middle of a pandemic.

Have some respect and empathy. No matter how long you've been doing this.
