I recognize standards are different in every count...

I recognize standards are different in every country. But that doesn't explain rude reception staff, serving drinks in plastic cups at the bar, poor wifi, TVs that don't work and a bad buffet. A tired old hotel in desperate need of an upgrade. And the location is horrible. While close to the pyramids, it's right next to the highway, with no where to go for a walk or explore the neighbourhood. And one more time with feeling- really rude reception staff. They don't even pretend to try to be helpful.
