I love China Town in SF! It is a great experience. As you walk the streets you can feel immersed in this beautiful culture. People walking and enjoying their favorite treats at their favorite market. You can see people all ages. The diversity is beautiful.
As we walked to the museum, we enjoyed of the colorful vegetables and fruits outside the stores.
Once we got to the street where the fortune cookie museum was we realized how lovely the tiny museum is. It was lovely to see the way they are made and learn about the history. I highly recommend you don t only buy one bag of coins but a bunch as they are delicious. My son was able to learn a little more about their culture. the owner was super kind. And you can experience the way they do it and even create your own. They had fresh warm cookies for you.
If you have kids they will be fascinated.
