I had been to the Madonna Inn for drinks before, so I knew when we made arrangements to spend the night that we were in for extravagant seasonal decorations and unusual rooms. What I wasn't prepared for was the friendly and professional service we received from every employee we dealt with - at the hotel, in the restaurant, and even at the gift shop. The decor may be unusual, but the staff take their jobs seriously and take good care of guests. I would stay here again just because it's a good hotel, even apart from the unique rooms and that kind of thing.
