Renee at the front desk to the rescue!!! When we changed rooms, my husband left his wallet ( with all our money for our vacation to attend our daughter's graduation) hidden in our 1st room. Realizing this at dinner, we raced back to the hotel and approached Renee at the front desk who offered to help us any way that he could. We followed Renee to our original room and after knocking on the door and patiently explaining to the elderly woman who was now occupying our original room that the guests who had been checked into the room earlier in the day had left something important and could they please just retrieve it. After some hesitation on the woman's part, Renee showing all his credentials, my husband was allowed in to retrieve his wallet. Thanks to Renee, our vacation and my daughter's graduation was not ruined! I know the front desk representatives at most hotels would have said "Tough luck, can't help you, you should learn a lesson" but not Renee, we will definitely be back and will use the hotel safe next time!!!
