They at least tried, a bit. I had a Macbook from 2011 that I brought in, I had easily done my own diagnostics via the internet and found that I had to replace the logic board, and Macbooks from that year all had faulty logic boards. They advised me to get a whole new computer altogether, or my other option was to have it looked at for an $80 diagnostic fee, and have the logic board replaced somwhere around $800 which that money would go toward. I walked out, went to the mac store in Eaton centre and had the laptop looked at and the logic board replaced both for free. I get that it is an independent dealership, but as a licensed Mac retail store, perhaps the staff need to be better trained. I saved $850 by not using this store.
