2nd largest Louis Vuitton store in Paris, & NO LIN...

2nd largest Louis Vuitton store in Paris, & NO LINE outside! You can come in, sit & wait for help, & they'll serve you drinks while you wait. The personal service is great. The items are plenty. No pressure for you to purchase, but they do make commision on their sales. Items are less expensive here than in the US for the exact same item! & you get a percentage of the tax back . The sales people will be happy to tell you the conversion rate to $s & look up the american website price for comparison. Of course you must declare your purchases that total over $800 at customs & border control in the US. I did that at SFO, but thank goodness they did not charge me an import tax that would have eaten into my savings of buying my personal use French made luxury items in France over buying them in the USA. I just did the calculations. I saved $1,862.00! Yes, that's right! Buy your luxury LV items in france! Do not buy them in the USA, unless of course money means nothing to you. I love the $$ savings! That is literally $1,862.00 in my wallet compared with if I bought the same items in America. I fly Polaris class on United Airlines & stay in posh hotels, but if you fly economy class & stay in inexpensive hotels, the savings alone could pay for your trip to Paris! Appreciate that! You would literally have a FREE Paris trip with those $$ savings. Oops, I forgot! In America add your state sales tax to the total! So when that is added , I saved around $2,200.00 buying my LV items in france! I will never buy LV in America now that I experienced the amazing savings buying my LV items in France! The same goes for purchasing Burberry in London compared with Burberry purchases in America, by the way. In the store the nice sales gal suggested I have my purchases boxed, but I told her I did not plan to pack boxes into my luggage. She informed me that the boxes fold up! I did manage to pack my boxes & bags in my luggage all folded up! My friends told me I can use the boxes & bags for staging my condo when I sell it & that stagers will actually buy fancy brand boxes & bags for staging homes for sale. Interesting, since I have Tiffany boxes & bags, Burberry, & also Coach boxes & bags, & other fancy brand bags. I read online that a small Tiffany & Co. Box sells for $25 on E-Bay. I won't sell any of mine. I gave 2 Tiffany & Co. boxes & bags away at Christmas as comical empty box gifts & may give away my LV boxes & bags to friends that like displaying such things. They're probably going to be $50 empty box & bag gifts! LOL!
