This is a magical place. The Pinehurst Plantation has 9 full courses and the Craddle which is a par 3 course. In addition to all of these golf courses, the putting green! Imagine 3 basketball courts placed next to each other and then this putting green is larger than that. They even have an 18 hole putting course called the Thistle. Takes about 30-45 minutes to play. This place is like the Masters on Steroids except you get to play. I could write paragraphs about each course. 1 and 5 are the cheaper course and recommended to play before moving on to the other course. 3 is a Donald Ross design but it s an executive shorter course. 4,6,7,8, and 9 are all 275 to play and are quite challenging. 4 is under construction and will be open in Fall of 2018. And then there is 2. 485 to play, Donald Ross design - and by that I mean the turtle shell greens. If you don t stick them you roll off of all sides. You should walk and the fescue is gorgeous.
Again paragraphs could be written. You can stay on the property or just off the property. Pinehurst area has so many golf courses.
