I was a camper at CCB for seven years, and became a counselor assistant for the last two years. My experiences here have taught me lessons that I will value for the rest of my life. Before becoming a camper, I sat at home all day playing video games when I wasn't at school. My first year as a seven year old camper absolutely changed my outlook on life. I was able to have more fun than I ever had without any kind of electronics. From learning how to survive in the woods, overnight hiking/mountain biking trips, kayaking, rafting, meeting an uncountable amount of amazing people from all over the world, I was exposed to a way of life that many kids will never be able to experience; and I absolutely loved it. I cannot express with words how important this place was in forming the person who I am today. I love this place, and will cherish and miss my experiences here for the rest of my life.
