My aunt just had her wedding and here s what she has to say:
I don't even know where to begin with my horrible experience with Everlasting Elopements. Bottom line is I had the absolute worst nightmare come true. At the very last minute- the day before my destination wedding- I found out they hadn't ordered ANY of my flowers (bouquets, bouttineres, corsage, flower petals and aisle floral decor)-- even though I filled out a flower form with specific details. I had to make an emergency order and pay for it separately, even though it was supposed to be included in my package. After that, it was one thing after another on my wedding day:
1) my Cake and gift tables were not on order; ended up only receiving the cake table
2) the color of chair sashes were peach, not pink
3) they left out acknowledging past loved ones in the ceremony-- very, very upsetting. After the minister pronounced us husband and wife, I was like.. umm is he going to acknowledge my grandparents?? We were supposed to turn around to the guests but instead I was asking him about it. He said I'm sorry I don't know anything about that. And instead of a big smile on my face I wanted to cry!!
4) cake was horrible and dry
5) too many chairs and tables delivered to reception
6) the coordinator did not know how to pin the bouttineres- pins were sticking out and the bouttineres were falling
7) even though I filled out a long form asking for specific details about the ceremony, it was not given to the coordinator at the ceremony so She was asking me questions about how I wanted things to go-I already answered in the form and the last thing I wanted to do was COORDINATE the wedding!!!!!!!!
8) the aisle floral decor was a joke and expensive
9)I bought cake stands for both bride and grooms cakes and they didn t place them
10)and of course the flowers - they said I did not order any flowers, yet I have an email (see screenshot) confirming all the flowers I ordered. That same email had a link with the flower form which I filled out and submitted and was very specific.
I spoke to The owner, Kari, just hours before my wedding and I just couldn't believe my ears. I was literally at a loss for words. She was accusing me of being confused about what I ordered (I have proof of what I ordered and she still said I was wrong) and blaming me for not catching their mistakes. I felt completely defeated and cheated. My father graciously paid for a wedding coordinator service that we didn t get -- at all. I tried my best not to break down on my wedding day. I was so upset, not only by all the things that went wrong, but by the way Kari treated me. Absolutely NO compassion or I am so sorry, let me fix this and make it all better. She did not budge and she was completely out of line. She was so argumentative and rude that I finally just had to hang up on her.

Kari has no clue 1) how to treat people in the Customer service industry, 2) she does not comprehend follow thru 3) she does not understand that the industry she chose to attempt to build a company in requires compassion, thorough communication, attention to detail, etc. and 4) lastly I am positive she purposefully left out a very important part of my ceremony, where Everlasting Elopements asked me if I wanted to acknowledge past loved ones, which I did,.. and somehow that was not communicated to the minister or the coordinator. If anyone wants to hear more about my experience please feel free to contact me. It s chaotic enough planning a wedding, not to mention COVID interruptions; and the last thing you need is for so many things to go wrong and then to top it off, the person that you have paid to make things go smooth, is rude to you on your wedding day!

I would hate for this to happen to anyone. I will never forget this and I ll be telling this story for the rest of my life. Why risk ruining this important milestone. Just don't do it. Move on to another wedding planner.
