My mother is currently a patient at PRMC. One of her nurses came in, and although very sweet, was doused with cologne. It should be mandatory that anyone working in a hospital refrain from using colognes and other scented body washes etc. I would think that everyone in the medical profession would know that people that are ill are extremely sensitive to fragrances, and when they have any type of respiratory illness it can aggravate their condition to a whole new level. It's my opinion that if any of the medical team arrive smelling of fragrance, they should be sent home immediately to shower and change. It's so frustrating to watch her gasping for air and getting a splitting headache because one of her medical team doesn't abide by a fragrance free zone.
