Basically, I am grateful that this place exists and it is certainly a fun, educational experience for my children and family. It is still the best zoo in the City and metro area. When you are inside you literally forget that you are in middle of the Bronx and are transformed to the middle of a forest, or Africa, or other wilderness environment, especially on a hot, humid NYC summer day. HOWEVER, the place need a serious face lift. It literally looks the same as when I was a child in attendance in the 90s - including the entrance, restrooms, and, sadly, most of the exhibits such as birds, crocs, mice, etc. That's why I give 4 stars. The Dinosaur Safari is cool and I appreciate the children's zoo section. All in all a great experience, albeit a bit expensive. Thanks for reading!
