Collecting at the door around Christmas time, fine...

Collecting at the door around Christmas time, fine even I fall for this type of marketing. I was willing to give a one-time donation of 5, because as the boy at the door said 'every euro counts'.

But no, the entry fee was 8 euros, after which you (if I understood correctly) would get stuck on a monthly "subscription" that you then have to turn off via email if you no longer wanted to spend.

It is understandable that a charity wants to raise money, but please do so in a different way. It is not very classy if you say no to 5 and you try to sell a charity as if it were a product.
