I fell down the side of the Mountain breaking my left leg (spiral break) right hip (requiring a complete hip replacement) and tore my rotator cuff and ligaments in my right arm. I spent 5 days in the hospital. The nurses were wonderful and I loved Dr. Birk. He was a great doctor with a great bedside manor who did a wonderful job putting me back together again. It s been 5 years since my accident but I can t thank them enough. I am from Houston and they even went out of their way to help prepare my ride back to Houston, TX in the back seat of my husbands truck. They anticipated all of my needs for the ride back. I can t thank them enough. I spent the better part of a year in a wheel chair and 4 years of Physical Therapy and today walk without even the slightest limp. I still have a rod in my left leg but no real issues. All doctors that have checked my leg since all say Dr. Birk did a beautiful job .
