Sofitel Nusa Dua lacks finesse and pays a poor attention to detail. This hotel is very disappointing and is a disgrace for a so called luxury hotel . For a 5-star hotel and the price this hotel charged, the quality is mediocre at best. Housekeeping service is very slow, especially when requesting toilet amenities I had to ask 3-4 times before they arrive.

Cleanliness of the room is very poor, I had to scrub the bathtub myself before using it for the first time of my visit as it had residue or gunk build up that may be caused by the previous guests. Few spots of the room looked like they have been left uncleaned thoroughly for months as you can pick up heavy dusts especially when you run your fingers through the coffee tables. Not to mention, you will be able to find spider web at the corners of the room.

More, the key reader and key card to my room just stopped functioning on the last day of my stay and locked my partner out of the room, luckily I was inside the room to open up.

If you stay during new years holiday, there is a mandatory gala dinner that you have to attend at an extra cost. Again for the price you pay for, the quality of food is embarassing e.g Seafood are not fresh and the other food selections fails to excite.

The breakfast was OK, again the cleanliness is very poor - there were bird droppings on our table that were not wiped at the time the table were set up. Would not recommend anyone for this hotel. Better look at Movenpick for stay. Half the price, but much better quality. Or Mulia hotel at Nusa Dua is a much better place to stay.
