John Robert Review of Trinitas Ventures

I used to live at The Village at Muller Park four years ago, and suddenly, this summer out of no where, this company pretended to be the company they sold (they sold The Village to another company two years ago) by using their old leasing email, and claimed I had an unpaid bill and were going to send it to collections. I called The Village and emailed, and they told me not to respond to that email because it didn't belong to them, so I assumed it was a scam.
Fast forward to today, and I got a call from a collection agency saying I owed over $200 to Trinitas because of damages. FOUR YEARS LATER, they tell me I should have received a report and is available on my resident portal (which I can no longer access). No calls, no emails, nothing. I also only rented a room, as did three others, and for some reason I am the only person they have listed as a primary member of the house, making me entirely responsible for the bill.
This is a snake of a company apparently, and they are literally even charging me to replace a light bulb and a single blind... the definition of wear and tear. If you find out one of the buildings you want to live in is owned by this company, I'd advise against it, and also if you are in a situation like me, I suggest you lawyer up.
