Completely disappointed with the experience. I was eager to take a class there since it was my first time in NYC (and i probably won't return for a while). I was already sad the teachers that were recommended to me had substitutes covering for them this week. Nevertheless, I decided to go for it.
For a class at 3pm, with all the hassle of ny's public transport, I had to clear my afternoon for this class. Arriving at 2:30pm, did all the registration, the staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The class started at 3pm, everyone walked in, started stretching but the teacher, Nijawwon Matthews substituting for Slam, didn't show up!!! At 3:30pm, someone from the crew told us the class was cancelled. They offered to swap to another class but everything had already started 30 minutes before!
The staff was still helpful and gave me a full refund for that. But I am now left disappointed, can't take any other class since I'm leaving, and I lost an entire afternoon of sightseeing...
