Stayed here for 3 nights in July. We stayed in room 283 and it was far too warm. There was a freestanding air conditioner. The built in air conditioner in room not working. Tv was in a strange place too. My biggest problem was with the breakfast. I emailed 4 days before arrival asking if they could accommodate me with regard to my dairy allergies and meat. . I was sent a reply that it would be no problem and the restaurant would be informed. When I checked in the receptionist said to me that my special diet had been noted and passed on. Went down for breakfast on first day and the waitress had no idea what I was talking about. There was nothing put in place. Couldn t have bread as milk in it. Couldn t have even mushrooms or tomatoes as I was told they were cooked in butter. They did have soya milk so could have a cup of tea. Waitress ran down to Tesco to buy loaf of bread with no dairy in it. I was told the next morning they would have veggie sausages available for me. Went the next morning for breakfast and new staff were unaware once again. No veggie sausages. Did get a bit of toast though. Didn t bother with breakfast on 3rd morning as I couldn t be bothered explaining everything again. So basically if u have any food allergies give this hotel a miss, as they have no clue !
I loved Liverpool and the people where lovely and friendly , so I will be back , but sadly not to this hotel.
