Stayed here for 7 days. 1st day started off pretty good as I was able to check in a few hours early. Check in process is about 15 minutes per party which seems a little long. It pretty much went down after that. Upon checking into our room the temperature was a very hot 75 degrees Fahrenheit, With no way to adjust the temperature lower. After a few hours my wife decided to take a shower and flooded the entire bathroom flor in approximately 90 seconds. In a full blown panic in attempt to keep the water from reaching the carpet, she hustled to turn the water off and grab every towel in site. We're called ande maintenance was sent up. He told us that it was simply a poor design and that the shower floods and reaches the carpet. We ate at 1 of the restaurants and the food was absolute rubbish. The 2nd day in the room we couldn't handle it anymore and wanted to be refunded to relocate to another hotel. We were not granted that wish, however we were granted another room a few doors down that was much better, despite the strong cigarette smoke odor. We did decide to try to make the best of things. Concierge was terrible. He had given us some of the worst incorrect advice possible. The location of the hotel is very good if you are going to the o2. Aside from that it's very far from anything good in London. My wife ordered room service dessert which had mildew on the inside of it. This 5 star hotel isn't worthy of a 5 star rating by any means. I chose not to use the spa, or many other amenities due to the nightmare experiences we had here. The only thing that made this hotel ok was that we determined to use it for sleep and showering only. Checkout at 4am was a breeze.
