Always slightly let down.

Always slightly let down.
Came to Cote to celebrate a special occasion. My starter came out on tough toast that was very hard and it said it came with vegan cheese - while the cheese was nice it didn't add it anything it had just been chucked on top like an afterthought. When the mains arrived my salad came in a bowl that was impossible to eat out of with roasted vegetables that was 80% onions. And the olive tapenade that came with it was so so salty.
Dessert was supposed to be a praline pancake with caramelized bananas. But the banana wasnt caramelized and I'm not sure where the praline was only some chocolate sauce drizzled on top.
Not the first meal I've had here - always falls flat for me
