STAY AWAY FROM THIS TITLE COMPANY IF YOU CAN!! If I could give a half a star, I would. Our mortgage company chose to use Service Link and if I had the choice, I would have stayed away, especially after reading all of the bad reviews on Google and the BBB. The agent that was in charge of our closing had no sense of urgency, and in return we had to extend our interest rate lock. Our closing had to be changed two different times because service link held it up, my husband was out of town for work, so we had to do two different closings in two different locations. The closing was scheduled for him for a day at 1PM, they decided 45 minutes prior to that, that they wanted the sellers to sign first when they had known more than 24 hours prior that it would just be him signing that day and myself and the sellers signing the next business day. There were many miscommunications, as the agent working our closing stated that the sellers did not agree to prorate the property taxes and that was never discussed per the seller, which cost us in the long run! The day of my signing my mortgage officer tried to contact them about getting the taxes prorated, they didn t answer him until the notary was physically at my house to do the signing and would not do anything about it. My best advice is to stay away!!
