Wonderful! Marianne, the concierge, was so helpful in recommending a great place for me to go since I was alone and got in late. It was actually a suggestion that wasn't on their list of nearby eateries (The Hill Tavern) but after explaining what I was looking for she came to that suggestion. It was perfect. The room was very clean, everything in good condition (not all beat up and worn), and the main hotel lobby and restaurants were roomy and easily accessible (not cramped into a small space). I also enjoyed the mini exhibit of the history of the hotel as a jail. The next morning, I asked the front office to charge my phone since I forgot my charger, and while I was waiting Jenny and Bridgette kept me company. They were so wonderful to talk to, exceptional conversationalists, and very interested in helping me see as much of Boston as possible before I left (I ended up doing the trolly tour with two museum tickets included for hotel guests). Amenities only go so far, and the staff are what truly make an experience. From check in to check out, it was a great experience. Having worked for a Starwood property in the past (a W), even I was greatly impressed. I would definitely recommend The Liberty.
