THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG ONE. My husband and I went in wanting a very small and simple wedding due to COVID-19 we knew that this was our only option. I searched for elopements here in SA and I found Everlasting Elopements. I blame myself for not looking further into the comments because I'm pretty sure that I would have NEVER went through them. We did originally go with the home office chapel but once we saw that it was inside a home in a neighborhood we decided that was not something we wanted. We went with Overlook Pavilion over by the pearl the scenery is beautiful and represents us. The part of the pavilion that Everlasting Elopements has the bride and groom stand (if you look at their pictures) is by the pillars and where a rose bush is, I did not want to be in that direction because of the dead rose bush, I wanted to be in the direction that the riverwalk was. As I was emailing KARI (who is the OWNER) about my concern she was pretty rude in her response. Which I did not like at all. At that point I just felt that I just didn't need to communicate with her any longer. Amanda contacted me and let me tell you!!! Amanda was an angel and literally made me feel like a bride that didn't need to stress, she was my breath of fresh air, I seriously wish that she was there at my wedding.
The day of my wedding my sister and MOH got there early to make sure that the chairs were the way that we wanted them to be and guess what THEY WERE! I'm glad that they were and Kari (even though she was rude for no reason) was able to complete my request because honestly either way it was going to get done. On top of the rudeness every single guest (20) told us " who's that lady that was here? she was really rude for no reason" and I told them who she was and the OWNER of the company. My thing is, be rude to me whatever it sucks i dealt with it, thanks to Amanda my angel! BUT to be rude to my family is another story. Kari needs to work on her customer service skills, if she isn't happy with dealing with wedding she needs to find a different profession and maybe dress the part when it comes down to being a coordinator.
The Rev (im sorry i forgot his name, maybe Jesse) was also super amazing! He made it super special, short and sweet. I love that he was very cheerful and laughed with us. My wedding day was great with my husband and family together.
Also, i blame myself for this one but save your money people. They hit you with fees on fees on fees. Yes, i read the contact and we signed it but man do i regret it. Long story short, save your money, go with someone that is going to treat you right, and READ REVIEWS. The Rev and Amanda really just made our day a lot better.
