Very sorry to say BMW's customer service process has resulted in stalemate, and is unable to resolve my issue. I'm told there is no further route for escalation....If a customer service senior manager or director isn't prepared to discuss directly, I have no choice but to 'escalate' through social media. Beware buying a BMW if you value flexible customer service. This is also a complete reversal in fortunes, as my previous experience about 10 years ago was exemplary. Something has gone very wrong.
