I have had Boyd equipment for almost 20 years and have been very happy with quality and can say that the units still look great. My biggest complaint as an orthodontist that likes to fix his own equipment is that the parts are extremely expensive. When the company was owned by Bruce Livingston he took pride in the fact that his equipment could be easily repaired and would give discounts on the parts to the few of us that don t mind getting their hands dirty. I was just a little disappointed that a petal limit switch on a chair seems a little pricey at $45. Maybe it is a gentle way into pushing me into some new equipment.
