This was a very enjoyable experience. Very informative and peaceful.. I just wish the animals had been outside the barn at the working farm.
Very beautiful place with lots of history, a big fire tower with a great view of the park, and a great lake with boat rentals. Lincoln's boyhood cabin was a beautiful place, and the whole park was a beautiful place
Loved it! Did not get to see everything due to being disabled. The walk was too much in the heat.
While visiting Santa's Cottages in Santa Claus Indiana, we wanted to see what was in the area that we could visit even though some places were closed due to fall season and COVID. We saw that this location was outdoors and almost walking distance to the area we stayed in so we decided to go. I love history so it was awesome to be able to walk in the same area as President Lincoln and visit some of the beautiful wooded areas, rebuilt cabins, and other things to see. Most importantly, my family enjoyed it while also asking questions about history. Now when they study it at school it will have a different but personalized meaning.
Beautiful as always. Might even head back today if it doesn't rain.
Although I was disappointed that I couldn't drink from the same spring that Abe Lincoln's family drew from, this was still a neat place. The visitor center was closed (because Federal Government) but we still had the run of the outdoor exhibits.
The "living farm" is really cool, and gives a great perspective on how people like Lincoln's family lived. There are live animals and it's a great opportunity for kids.
Breathtakingly beautiful and definitely went back in time. Even our 4 kids enjoyed it!
The Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is a source of pride in Southern Indiana. Lincoln lived here during a formative period of his life. Excellent facilities. There is a lot to do here and something for everybody. A Museum. Trails. An old farm. Trains. Cemetery is where Lincoln's mother is buried. Find out how she died. A great place to bring family!
