PROS: The hotel was beautiful & the rooms were very clean. They supply you with the normal amenities plus robes & matching slippers & an abundance of towels & toiletries. You have the option of getting a fully stocked bar with a lot of options to choose from. You have to use your key card in the elevators to get to your floor because the hotel doubles as residential property. You get all of this & the price is reasonable. CONS: You have to pay $22 a day to self park in the garage which is cheaper than getting the valet service. Now that's not too bad, however; this is what caused me concern...You have to prepay for your stay PLUS you have to give them a refundable $100 incidentals fee!!! When I asked the desk attendant about the charge they said that all hotels are charging this fee & making customers prepay for their stay...umm no! That's a lie because I just came from vacation at the 4 star Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida & we paid at the end of our stay with no incidentals fee. Overall the staff at the InterContinental was pleasant & very accommodating. It took me awhile to check in because I paid with cash & the desk attendant had a hard time handling the paperwork for my $100 cash refund for incidentals for when I checked out. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again simply because of the prepay & incidentals policy. I believe in paying for service rendered NOT paying for a service I haven't received.
