When i first walked in to join a friends birthday party it all looked glamourous and promising.
But the space is too big, has too much of a corporate feel to it and lacks any atmosphere.
Whoever designed the space made a huge mistake by placing a massive bar right in the middle of the room blocking half the room's view from the stage and dance area!!! Even sucking more of the atmosphere out of the space. Very strange!
The band performing were OK. Nothing spectacular or different or standout. The 20 mins long Eminem's slimshady song performance just sucked the life out of the dance floor. Surely Abit more imagnation with live acts these days is needed.
Food and the menu reminded me of a maybe slightly above average gastropub. No more.
Service is where things got really bad. No effort was made regarding the birthday celebrations at all. Very disappointing after much complaining someone finally brought out a tiny single candle and put it in front of the birthday person. Simple as that!!! Even though we had already informed them when booking
Wine list and cocktails were good at least.
The place has no soul or atmosphere or imagination with anything. With places like Park Chinos, Samosan Twiga and many others in central London bringing great nights out with amazing flare and class , this place has very little to offer.
If you are organising an office outing with a bunch of colleagues you dont really socialize with , it is perhaps just about palatable . Any occasion more special, this is not the place.
There is much better out there in London.
