Last evening I met my wife at the Swan for a drink and a bite to eat. We had limited time and it was a special occasion so the Four Seasons seemed like a good bet. We came away feeling it had been thoroughly underwhelming. The setting was certainly lovely. The place uncrowded. We had two poorly balanced specialty cocktails at $15.00 each and a bland, slightly soggy pizza, which a dozen other places could have done better. All told it came to $56.00 plus tip. Nothing was bad enough to send back. It was just mediocre and disappointing, no different, and possibly less quality than any other hotel would do. No reason to go back. I would expect better from the Four Seasons.
