Staff were pleasant when we arrived but we went upstairs to find we were given a twin and not a double room. It also smelt like someone had been smoking. We were moved to a smaller room with a view of the air conditioning unit. Everything felt a bit shabby considering the price. The barman downstairs was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great location for everything to do in Amsterdam with a bus stop to airport outside
