I stayed here during a storm and power outage. The 115 degree temps with no air conditioning and increased humidity was unbearable and resulted in several guests being overcome by the heat.

But these are things outside the control of the hotel. I noticed that the manager pulled a double shift to help out during the power outage. He offered flashlights to anyone who didn't have one and also provided bottled water.

Ultimately, we left early and the beds in our clean rooms went largely unused. I'm certain I would have had a better experience if we stayed literally any other night, but we got the full Death Valley experience.

The only problem I saw was that the water in the rooms was either hot or "scalding". There was no cold water and taking a shower would have been impossible.
