I had an issue as I was traveling with my wife and apparently my booking was made for 1 person. When I checked in they said they would check if there was anything that they could do to, add her at no extra cost( I NEVER get billed for adding my wife at any other hotel chain) I also mentioned that I was paying for 8 nights but would be traveling to provinces for a few of the days without checking out. They gave me an option to pay for her use of breakfast buffet which I understood but then we tried to go to the gym and we were stopped because the room was registered for 1. That to me is RIDICULOUS! we landed on me checking out 1 day earlier and they adjusted my rate to pay $40 extra for my wife. That is a petty attitude to a guest and to a company that gives you so much business. The staff at the Horizon Lounge apologized but had no power to fix anything. I like the hotel and the location and sadly because of this I end up staying at the Conrad for the rest of my trip which is more than 1 hour away from where I need to go every day. The Conrad gave me a free room upgrade and no charges for my wife neither for breakfast, nor lounge usage or anything else.
