A beautiful hotel to visit for a quiet drink in the patio or in their terras where unfortunately smoking is still allowed. Sit down and ENJOY the view. You can order a cappuccino for 5,- or 6,- or like we did order a Negroni and take your time.
In the cocktailbar there really is some room for improvement. For example, Hotel Alphonso 13 has a great looking cocktailbar. But for example their Mai Tai 13,- or 14,-....is made with Bacardi Carta Oro!!!! Why?? Is it lack of passion, or knowledge? A Cuban style rum like this one really is the wrong choice!!! I hope it's not going for the cheap choice. Because they have plenty other rums like Appletons. So in this 5 star hotel visited by presidents there still room for improvement.
