I have been chasing some money that was owed to me...

I have been chasing some money that was owed to me, with no luck at all. Here's what happened:

1) I was asked to give written feedback on a company's tender proposal

2) I did that at the agreed hourly rate

3) I was told my submitted work was 'on the mark'

4) Then the company refused to pay for it. Like, just simply refused.

I emailed a lawyer and they didn't even bother replying. I contacted another lawyer and they were happy to do something, but they would charge me whether they got my money or not. I baulked at that and they suggested 'Paul Metcalf'.

I contacted Paul and he sent me a form to sign. I sent that to him, together with a brief description of what had happened, and copies of the emails between the client and me.

Just over 24 hours later, the client has paid and the money is in my bank account.

Professional and accomplished!
