Try to get there early. After 10-10.30 the queue becomes very long and you will waste a lot of time. Given the opening time of the different areas I'd suggest starting with the palace, then the garden and last the Petit and Grand Trianon. Don't miss Marie-Antoniette "farm house" at the very end of the garden, it's really worth it! Hopefully restoration work will soon be completed.
