Love stepping back in time at the Renaissance fest. There's really something for every taste, & every age here. You can take the family & take in all the children activities, my grandson enjoys the rides, which are all manual as they were then, they're fun, & games, long bow target practice, etc. They have Llama & elephant rides. You can also make it an adult outting & enjoy the pirate bar, Ded Bob comedy, etc. If ur up for weekend party I suggest you bring a tent & camp out on the Ren Fest grounds, their weekend parties are notorious for get 1 big community party.
There are scheduled of events online, my personal favs are the jousting, (though they overstage it), Belly dance, pretty talented girls, the sky ribbon dancer, def Bob shows pretty funny, & they end the fest with fireworks,(probably coming from the weekend campers, lol). Jk, it cost a bit, $40 per ticket, kids r free, But if u find a royal gown, fairy outfit, witch hat, pirate garb, put it on, you'll fit right in & have a great time. Suggest u get there early, but it's not necessary, they have parking directors & golf carts that take u from your car to the entrance. Go step back in time & get away for a day
