We really enjoyed our stay here. I did not expect the place to look so beautiful. I was originally interested in the Aqua Park of the resort but when we got there we were stunned. It was a gem of a resort, a hideaway right at Taal Lake. It almost looks like a beach!

The property is quite big with entire villas for rent or hotel rooms. You can cook in RFD villas bit not in the hotel rooms but that's OK because their cafe has a good ala carte menu which is reasonably priced.

We stayed at Banga 202 in a big room that had three queen sized beds and a single sofa bed that had a pullout bed. So 8 people could fit. One bathroom only though and just one mirror in the bathroom. Wished they had one in the bedroom and in the living room. Our room had a nice balcony but the view of the pool and Taal Lake was kind of obstructed by bamboo trees and plants.

Apparently, CBI is a wedding venue. When I took my first exploratory walk I saw a couple who were having their pre-nuptial photoshoot by the lake. They have a beautiful church and a gorgeous reception hall too.

Turns out the AquaPark wasn't as cool as we thought. It was well cared for but empty. The lack of human energy in the AquaPark was not encouraging se decided to skip that and just swim in the pool by the cafe. They have three pools BTW.

Oh, they do have a SPA. About 750 for a massage. We all had Swedish massages and enjoyed that.

Instead of the AquaPark, we ended up renting out their jet skis and HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!! We really wanted to stay for one more day to maybe try the AquaPark anyway even if we would be the only people in the park but we had to return to Manila.

Anyway, Club Balai Isabel turned out so much better than we expected so we plan to come back in the future!
