This farm has a lot going for it. The campground is in a stunning location with ocean views and great access to the beach. Unfortunately my weekend camping was ruined by the fact that our campsite was in a flooded field. There was at minimum one inch of standing water throughout the field and in other places puddles so large it went in my kids boots. Even the fire pit was unusable. I did complain and was offered another site BUT it was far from my friends sites AND it was only for one night, the following day I would have had to pack up by 11 and wait until 1 pm to move into my new site. Camping with two kids this was not feasible. I get that it s been a wet spring and the staff did pull my camper out for me when I could not get it out with my car, but I was offered no compensation for my site which was basically not usable. I would have been happy with a 50% discount for my next weekend stay, or even a complimentary cup of coffee in the morning. Heck if they had of even just called and warned me I could have brought rain boots and would have been able to access site camper without soaking my shoes. I spent the weekend with wet feet and cranky kids. It was miserable.
