From checkin, to the pool, to room service, to the genuine care of the staff this hotel missed the mark by a long shot. Upon checkin there was a line of 6 guests waiting while 3 staff spoke with each other about when they would be leaving for the day. This is negligible but when you have to grab your checked in bags 35 minutes after arriving and have the wrong house keeping set(2 of one but none of the other) needless to say my trip didn t get off to the right start. From there I went to the pool where for close to 1 hour I tried to get the attention of anyone with a name tag, to my dismay everyone seemed too busy with other things. I had requested a in room menu because they don t have any printed in the room(not too sure what I m supposed to order from?) and ended up checking out before it came. The architecture itself is breath taking however the service is that of a holiday inn. Upon check out I witnessed and eventually helped an 80year old woman attempt to lift her bags down the stairs while 6 staff stood and asked if she or I needed a cab, this should be the least of your worries at this point.Hopefully the management see the obvious flaws and attempts to fix the many problems because this hotel has so many things going for it. Don t think I will be returning anytime soon unless some major changes happen :-/
