Service is usually good, but the up-sell afterward...

Service is usually good, but the up-sell afterwards is really getting tiresome! I had my oil changed and tires rotated today. I was told that my right and left CV Axle were popping and torn, and that I needed them replaced right away (for the bargain price of $1,176.00) because they could go out at any time and leave me stranded. So, I told them it wasn't in the budget and left. I drove my car in sharp circles in both directions....AND NO POPPING NOISE! Then I called a well respected competitor down the street who quoted me $503.00 for both sides for the identical repairs. I took my car there to be checked and they told me NO REPAIRS WERE NEEDED!

Come on Team Toyota. REALLY?!?
