I had a Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) performed by Dr. George Zakharia. Because of the size of my prostate other less invasive options were not available to me. Most other surgeons would have approached this surgery through an incision in the abdomen but Dr. Zakharia was able to use the less invasive approach through a resectoscope. This made my recovery much easier and undoubtedly quicker. After healing my results have been outstanding and all of my previous symptoms have resolved. In hindsight I should have done this several years ago instead of continuing to put up with a condition that was only getting worse. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Zakharia to anyone.
