I signed up for Nift to support local business. I received a coupon for a national online chain instead. I begrudgingly placed an order with Bright Cellars wine (the cost of which still exceeded the gift card). I just received a text today that my next shipment is coming. I went online to cancel, and there is no way to cancel online. It is an auto-enrolling scheme. Sure, fine print is somewhere in the terms and conditions of which no one ever actually reads. This was pointed out to me when I called today to try to cancel and was told they can cancel the shipment, but will charge me $25 to do so. Do not sign up for Bright Cellars. Their business model is to get people who aren't paying attention to their finances signed up and hopefully you forget or are too lazy to remember to cancel. $100/month later and you're wondering where all your money is going..
