My family had looked forward to our 5 night stay at this property for months. Unfortunately we were denied boarding on our flight from Dallas to Spain due to my husband's passport expiring 2 months and 20 days after the conclusion of our trip. My first call upon being denied boarding was to this property as our check in was scheduled for 30 hours later (due to layovers in other cities). I had prepaid our 5 night stay and begged and pleaded for a return of at least a few days of the stay.

After daily calling and constant follow up on my part for 4 days, the manager responded stating that they wouldn't return anything. We were by no means expecting a full refund but any little bit would have helped. In a service based industry where there's absolutely no consideration given for extenuating circumstances, my future business will go elsewhere.

This is a huge disappointment to me as my husband and I were planning on joining Marriott Vacation Club. This incident has solidified our decision not to join.
