Still the best pastrami in NYC. Better than Second Avenue Deli better than Sarge's. 16 or so bucks is a bit pricey for a sandwich but it's piled high with meat and feeds one person at least. Corned beef here was good, but not as good as the pastrami. This place is old school with sawdust on the floor in the bathrooms so don't expect a fine dining experience. One side of dining area is self serve, the other is full service, so know which you want. There's apparently a place in Brooklyn that supplies the meat to Katz - which apparently u can smoke it yourself and have it taste pretty similar if u have the time.
