I feel that " Dino Night" was a huge way to skim peoples money without providing any service of substance in return. It ran from 6-10 pm to go along with the "night" theme, however, but 8:30 all dino exhibits were asleep as a worker explained to my kids. We arrived at 7:15 so we were fortunate enough to ride 2 rides. Unfortunately, many other patrons paid for unlimited wrist bands and rode nothing because all rides also closed.
The one thing it seems the zoo was successful at was turning the front entrance into a bar scene. Alcoholic drinks from wine to beer however no one was as prominent about selling water. Excellent message to send to our kids! I am not some old out touch dinosaur, I am 31 years old but maybe u am out of touch with the people running this zoo. If they spent as much time planning and running Dino Night add they did pushing booze, it might have been a success.
Unfortunately, I believe the Birmingham Zoo lost many customers tonight.
