Our family loves the Austin Zoo! We bought the annual pass and go frequently. You have to understand that this zoo is a rescue facility, and the zoo operates on donations. There are a good variety of animals, and depending on the time of day you choose to go, they are very active.

The staff takes incredible care of the animals and are very friendly and knowledgeable when you all then questions. The food is moderately priced, and you will need a few extra dollars to ride the train. The parking is a little tight and in a dirt lot, but staff is there to help you find open spots.

I can't stress how awesome the staff is at Austin Zoo! Take your kids and have a fun time!
